Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Manytours Kft., a company registered in Hungary (company registration number 13-09-245036, registered seat Diófa utca 2, 2023 Dunabogdány, Hungary), operating the service 3DollarVPN (“3DollarVPN”, “we”, “us”, “our”). They govern your access to and use of our website, browser extension, and proxy service (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is — and what it is not

3DollarVPN is a browser proxy. It routes the traffic of your web browser through encrypted SOCKS5 servers to hide your IP address from the websites you visit and to reduce common leaks (such as WebRTC, DNS, and IPv6 leaks).

It is not a full system VPN. It protects only the traffic of the browser it is installed in. It does not protect other applications, mobile apps, operating-system services, or traffic outside that browser. If you need whole-device protection, you need a full VPN — we will honestly tell you that 3DollarVPN is not that.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to enter into a binding contract, to purchase a subscription. You must be at least 16 to use the free tier or join the waitlist.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your password secure, and to be responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at marcell@3dollarvpn.com if you suspect unauthorised use. You may not share, resell, or sublicense your account or credentials.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

break any applicable law or regulation, or infringe anyone’s rights;
send spam, distribute malware, or carry out hacking, port-scanning, denial-of-service, or other network attacks;
engage in fraud, phishing, or distribution of child sexual abuse material or other illegal content;
attempt to bypass plan limits, probe or undermine the security of the Service, or resell access to it;
place an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure, beyond the fair-use limits described below.

We may suspend or terminate access that we reasonably believe breaches this section, where possible with notice.

5. Plans, pricing, and the renewal promise

5.1 Free tier

The free tier provides a limited monthly data allowance and a limited set of server locations, at no charge and (where stated) without an account. We may change the free-tier limits over time. The free tier is provided “as is” with no support commitment.

5.2 Paid subscription

The paid plan (“Pro”) costs USD 3 per month and provides unlimited traffic subject to fair use, all server locations, and the leak-protection features. Prices are stated exclusive of taxes; applicable VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout depending on your location and is handled by our payment processor.

5.3 Billing and auto-renewal

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for each renewal. You can cancel at any time (see section 6).

Our renewal promise. Your renewal price equals your first price. We will not quietly raise your rate at renewal. If we ever change prices, the change will apply to all users at the same time, and we will give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before it takes effect, so you can cancel first if you wish.

5.4 Fair use

“Unlimited” traffic on the Pro plan is subject to reasonable fair-use limits to protect the Service for everyone. We will tell you the current fair-use threshold and, if you exceed it, we may temporarily reduce speeds rather than cut you off.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account or by emailing marcell@3dollarvpn.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. For refunds, see our Refund Policy, including your statutory right of withdrawal.

7. Your privacy

We are a privacy-first service and do not log your browsing activity. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including the website, extension, branding, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose while you comply with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer (except as permitted by law), or create derivative works from the Service.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. If we discontinue a paid feature you are actively paying for, we will provide a pro-rata refund for the unused, prepaid portion.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the Service will make you anonymous or defeat every form of tracking. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 50. This section does not limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. As a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law and excluding consumer uses where such indemnities are not enforceable.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as payment owed, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protections of the country in which you reside. We try to resolve complaints directly, so please contact us first at marcell@3dollarvpn.com. If we cannot resolve a dispute, EU-resident consumers may turn to the competent consumer-protection body in their country of residence; in Hungary this includes the territorially competent conciliation board (békéltető testület). The courts of Hungary have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rule that lets a consumer bring proceedings in their place of residence.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes affecting paid users, we will give reasonable advance notice (for example, by email). Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
